Building Chatbot on FPT.AI platform

Persistent menu

This Menu will be fixed on the chat window, allowing quick access to the most important and popular information.

Step 1: In Persistent Menu > Select Add Menu

Step 2: Depends on usage, choose 1 out of the 3 functions: Step, URL, Sub menu, to attach to the Persistent menu.

  • Step: The Button on the Persistent menu will lead to 1 Step in a Scenario

  • URL: The Button on the Persistent menu will lead to 1 valid URL

  • Submenu: You can create sub menus inside the main menu

Then, enter Title with the display name for the button on the menu -> Select a Content for the Step/URL -> Save.

Creating submenu

Step 1: In Persistent Menu -> choose Add menu -> Submenu -> Enter menu Title -> Save

Step 2: After creating a level 1 menu with the Sub menu function, you can add a level 2 menu for it by clicking on the “+” symbol

Notice:

  • Persistent Menu is often used in frequent scenarios, to allow quick access for users.

  • Maximum number of Menu levels is 3.

  • Persistent Menu is only supported on Facebook Messenger and Livechat website.
